Hope challenge

Well this week my photo challenge was "hope"

I wish I had had the chance to take more photos but I believe this would still have been my choice for my favorite hope photo.

Title: The Future, Our Future

I love this shot, it is candid and natural. I was not even trying :)

Hope for the future, hope that we are teaching our kids the right things, hope that their generation will do things better than ours, hope that they will protect the planet and not destroy it, hope that they will care enough to pay more for organic and non toxic products, hope they will be selfless enough to turn off the water while brushing their teeth...hope.

Now my favorite overall shot of the week would have to be this one...

Title: Hunting the Hunter

I just love it.

Both pics are unedited with the exception of the borders and some slight contrast adjustments

Memories

Bud Light and I go way back

Wild Animal Park May 23

I was able to sneak in some photo taking while at the Wild Animal Park this weekend. I could literally spend ALL day there taking pictures! Maybe someday I will :)

Most times I can see what I want the image to look like composition wise it is just a matter of getting it to come across on the photo.

I have much much to learn...

Back patio adventures

So while Katelyn was napping yesterday I went out back to explore all the possible photo options I could find out there. I need to get some software to ad borders to these but right now I have nothing except picasa 3 which I downloaded for free. Anyway here are my favorites from yesterday...

May 25th challenge - Hope

I am starting these on Mondays. I know I am no where near organized enough to post it on time every single Monday but I will try.

My first photo challenge is....hope

The baby is asleep I wonder what I can find in my house that represents hope...

A little background

When I was 19 I bought my first SLR 35mm camera. All of these are old pics that were taken in 35mm (old school) and have not been edited except to add borders. This past Christmas my wonderful husband got me my new digital SLR and I am loving it. Now I just need photoshop.

Here are my old pics, I love them all equally. I have collected my favorites over the past 8 years or so and here are some for your viewing pleasure.
